October 18, 2007    Champion Joins the U.S. Environmental Agency’s SmartWay Transport  Partnership

The Champion Logistics Group is proud to announce that it has joined the Smartway Transport Partnership (STP), which is a voluntary partnership between the freight industry and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. STP establishes incentives for fuel efficiency improvements and greenhouse gas emissions reductions. Companies like Champion commit to measure and improve the efficiency of their freight operations, using EPA developed tools that quantify the benefits of a number of fuel-saving strategies. Champion Logistics, headquartered in Northlake, Illinois, provides specialized transportation services to the trade show and store display industries.
